The Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Technologies (DNTB) was founded in 2000 and it now represents a core facility where institutional educational and research activities are developed with a focus on an effective interplay with local, national and international institutions and companies.

The DNTB activities are:

Education: participation in graduate programs in medical sciences, PhD and residency programs of the University of Milan "Bicocca", Master programs

Research: scientific know-how and complete facilities for biological studies; preliminary feasibility evaluation and analysis in pre-clinical and clinical research; consultancy activity in pre-clinical and clinical settings in the fields of pharmacology, neurosciences, head-and-neck surgery and genetics; commissioned research activity.

Programs development and management: management of private and institutionally funded research programs; licensing and patent activities in the fields of bio-medical research
